Milwaukee moments

The ease of everything, sturdy, predictable, personable, accommodating; cheese curds and old fashioned, grey and damp; volunteer gift wrappers, progressive independent radio, coffee shops and Christmas lights, cards and magazines and the smell of paper and scotch tape; pancakes and melting butter, bacon and maple on everything. I still love returning, even if I don't want to call it home.
