A parenthetical
I am having a beautiful week. I have met up with wonderful women friends here and spent parts of yesterday and today writing, researching, and working on the blog for my wrongfully convicted friend in prison (stay tuned...I'll be ready to launch the website for his exoneration in the coming few weeks, I hope!). In case you were curious about any of the places we stayed at in the "Countryside Love" post, I've gone back and added the names of all of the rural tourism, hotels, and farm stays, along with links to their websites. But I also just walked a lot yesterday and today. The hills here used to exhaust me, but they just feel like a part of life now. And when I walk I get to discover so many parts of the city, so many places that are new...to me (even though many have been around for over a year; I was just pushing a child stroller at this time last year and didn't have the opportunity to look around, much less stop and read menus or peek into windows!).
So this is a kind of "nothing" post. Just some random photos I took while walking around today. Everything seemed beautiful and photo worthy, and so it was. (Speaking of discoveries, the above photo was a mistake that I must have taken by accident just a moment before I dropped my phone on the sidewalk and it bounced under a parked car! Luckily I could reach it to fetch it out. Thank goodness there was no rain today or it would've been a mess.)
