The past weeks

I haven't blogged in a while. Not that it really matters considering I haven't told anybody yet that this blog exists. Still, a lot of time has passed. Here is what we've been up to. Sort of. The beaches here are great, even in the fall and winter. We spent a whole afternoon poking in rock pools, collecting shells, drawing in the sand, and wrestling. We have been on a lot of nature walks, picked up litter on the trails, giving Apollo a lot of time to chase his tennis ball. We have been out to the horse barn a lot (correction: I have been riding a lot...the whole family goes every Saturday). We are debating returning to the apartment we bought almost 4 years ago, which is in the fabulous neighborhood of Principe Réal. Kids had school pictures, we celebrated Halloween in Lisbon, and then the kids and I went to London to meet my friends and their kids for true trick-or-treating. The rainy season is starting.
